Critter Round-Up Character Models, Interactive Props & Environments [3DS MAX]

This was a 3 month project published by Konami as a WiiWare launch title in Japan, as Saku Saku Animal Panic. All character and environment models/textures are created by me. We have very limited number of staff, I also did few particles and UI designs. We were aiming for animal blocks art style. We used toon shade rendering on characters and object as the engine doesn't really renders static meshes in that effect. With this such short amount of time to create the art, it was a good choice of style because its mostly low poly and textures basic solid colors.

The challenge I had was the number of animals I had to make every week and make sure they're finished to be rigged and animated by our lone animator. I had to be careful about the shape and lines to create a convincing visuals to be easily identifiable especially the angle of the camera.
